The Heart Behind Keepsake Cottage:

Hi, I’m Hunter, the hands and heart behind Keepsake Cottage.

At the beginning of this year, I felt a strong pull toward a slower way of living. I wanted to spend less time on my phone and more time creating something meaningful with my hands. What started as a simple purchase of a sewing machine for my daughter quickly turned into something much bigger. I had never used a sewing machine before, but as I began learning so I could teach her, I found myself completely drawn in. It became something I was deeply passionate about, and that feeling is what led to the creation of Keepsake Cottage.

The very first pieces I made were items for my daughters, myself and scrapbooks. I wanted something that encouraged me to slow down, to step away from constant scrolling, and to be present with my memories in a tangible way. From there, the brand naturally grew into creating items that I personally loved and wanted to have in my own home. Pieces that felt unique, thoughtful, and different.

Everything in this shop is handmade by me and carefully sewn, never glued, with the intention that each piece is made to last and to mean something. These are not mass produced items. They are created with care, time, and attention to detail so that when you receive them, they feel special in a way that is hard to replicate.

As Keepsake Cottage continues to grow, I am expanding into pieces that celebrate both motherhood and childhood. From tote bags and everyday accessories to fabric alphabets, name banners, and fairy wings, my goal is to create items that bring a sense of nostalgia and magic into your home. I want these pieces to feel like something you are proud to own and excited to pass down or hold onto.

My daughters, Frankee and Andee, are a huge part of the heart behind this brand. They are the reason I started and the reason I continue. Through this, I hope to show them the beauty of creating, the importance of slowing down, and what it looks like to build something meaningful from the ground up.

At the core of everything I make is a simple intention. I want to create items that truly make you pause, piecesthat feel nostalgic, thoughtful, and worth having in your life. When you bring something home from Keepsake Cottage, my hope is that it feels personal, lasting, and made just for you.
